JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS

Journeyman must have the necessary qualifications, training, experience and technical knowledge to install, alter, repair, replace, maintain, and to supervise the installation, alteration, repair, replacement and maintenance of electrical wiring, systems and equipment and be licensed as such by the appropriate authority in any jurisdiction requiring such licensure. A Journeyman is responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing conduit, receptacles, switches, light fixtures and fuse boxes consistent with Employer and client specifications and National Electrical Codes and may also connect power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor, and install grounding leads, in conformance with applicable specifications and codes.
